Enhancing: A One Purpose Environment in Extracting and Visualizing Macroeconomic Data Bank of Ghana Liftoff the Beta Version of the Bank of Ghana Database Portal

NEW AFRICA DAILY NEWS (NADN) Freetown, Sierra Leone– This is obviously in alliance with international best practice and the Bank’s efforts; enter wined with its inflation targeting framework of monetary policy.

According to a statement by the Central Bank, it stated the portal will same enhance efforts to meet data request demands from the public and help research work.

The data entailed in the portal is organized along five main Economic Sectors encircling: External Sector, Financial Sector, Fiscal Sector, Monetary Sector, Real Sector and Survey Based Indicators.

“The macroeconomic data is made up of 255 monthly and 86 quarterly time series data sourced from the BoG and other key stakeholder institutions.

Data updates and revisions will be done according to the Data Release Calendar as published on the portal,” it stated.
