The projects were given through a ministerial team chaired by Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister – Dr. Sibusiso Moyo which was authorized by President Mnangagwa to find ways of focusing the country’s economic cooperation with China.The committee also worked with Vice President Constantino Chiwenga and the Chinese Embassy. Major General Jackson Miti -Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa disclosed that, about 1000 jobs will be created as soon as the investment portfolios are fully actualized. Major General Miti noted, twenty-four investment certificates were granted to the investors through the Zambia Development Agency in 2019 with six being renewed licenses.
