NEW AFRICA DAILY NEWS (NADN) Freetown, Sierra Leone-  Liberia’s dome of the National Road Fund, Boniface D. Satu announces, the road division lingers greatly strived and there is a desire for stakeholders of the division to team in honoring it.

Satu brought about the statements during the program commemorating the Mid-Term Review of the 2020/2021 Annual Road Maintenance Expenditure Program and Recast of ARMEP Budget and financing of road works by local financial institutions wielded Tuesday, January 26th, 2021 at the Farmington Hotel – Margibi County. The strategy attracted jointly Representatives Johnson N. Gwaikolo and Dorhwon T. Gleekia of districts 9 and 6 respectively, Acting Minister of the Ministry of Public Works and Head of the Inter-ministerial Steering Committee, Honorable Ruth Coker-Collins, Minister Varney Sirleaf of the Internal Affairs Ministry, Transport Minister Samuel Wlue,
Monie Captan of Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), John Davies of the Liberian Bank for Development and Investment (LBDI), and Cornelius Nagbe Poney of International Bank (IB) and other stakeholders.

Honorable Satu stated, the meeting was conducted at soothing stakeholders of the sector and the desire to work together with obligation in renovating the sector. He reckons that, the road sector is questioned but is at a similar time, strongly confident that working together can enable to address the dilemmas suitably. Satu touted
stakeholders for communicating the confidence that everything will be accomplished to address challenges encountering road connectivity across the English West African nation.

He mumbled the World Bank, African Development Bank, and the Millennium Challenge Corporation have been assisting the National Road Fund particularly logistical backing and information technology system.

“The African Development Bank has ensured that we have all the computers needed, vehicles, marketing and branding, and cash to support the road fund,” Satu stated.

He began again by saying “we have also invited your financial institutions and banks for us to network together to see how best we can build our roads,”
